Born in Sutton Colfiled, England, South Florida-based George "Dolla Bill" Washington is a singer and multi-instrumentalist. Receiving a trumpet as a gift at age seven, his love for music was ignited. George was fortunate to have grown up surrounded by diverse musical styles, but he is most influenced by Beethoven, Bob Marley, Elgar, Elton John, English cellist Jacqueline du Pré and of course Gospel, Pop, Reggae and R&B.
Self taught, George is a gifted singer and musician, playing a number of instruments, including keyboard and bass. He's now focusing on steel drum and cello but is also currently studying violin and trumpet, endeavoring to truly create a Steel Symphony. Those who know him can attest to his true "child of the earth" spirit and innate ability to communicate positive energy and love through his art.
George has entertained thousands of people in his eight years as a featured musician on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Victory Casino Cruises. He is available to play cello and/or steel drum at public and private events in Florida. He can be reached via email from the Contact page.
